Meanwhile Thorkell: Playing Europa Universalis 4
The question is, how many of the DLC has he purchased. :P
Thorkell Playing Europa Universails 4: Why they keep insisting on peace? I WANT WAAAAR. *flips the table*
Meanwhile everyone wants to protest against being under me :/
Oh this is such a good comment 🤣
Askeladd is playing Hades
💀
Askeladd chilling in Valhalla
Throfinn getting on that grind 💯🔥 to be the kingpin of farms
Lol.
I'm glad they're people like Snake and the old man on this farm. Nearly everyone else have been assh*les towards Thorfinn and Einar.
it's always the lowest scums that act as mighty and are assholes
that back-cracking i felt that x(
That sound was so satisfying it always gets me.
It was a nice buildup though, to revealing Old Master & Snake.
The Viking Age was a time of slavery in Europe, and it was normalised, kind of like a caste system. "Thralls" were basically the lowest in the Nordic hierarchy and basically could be killed instantly for no reason. The only value they had was their individual cost as labor producing machines. So if you killed a slave, you had to pay back the owner, like if you broke one his tools.
I think one of the main themes of the farm arc is how disposable slaves are, and how non-slaves take advantage of slaves. Not gonna spoil it, but there is one major fcked up brutal moment about slaves again later on, involving a woman. It's really heart wrenching
Don't be this guy. If you're not gonna spoil something add the full stop and leave it at that. Now anyone with a brain is gonna know which woman that is and there only one of two options what would happen next. Even if its not her, we are now on the lookout because you lack common courtesy and brain cells.
"I'm not gonna spoil anything but *spoils indirectly*"
Nah, be like this guy if you want to, there are people there like myself who rely on slight spoilers to prepare themselves for the upcoming episodes.
like what kinda "prepare"? LMFAOOO
Yeah they're the only proper humans there along with Pater and the master.
Thorfinn and Einar's toughest enemy yet: a tree stump.
ultimate enemy
Thorofinn :- finally a worthy opponent! maybe more than Askeladd *starts sobbing*
The stump is obviously way too OP, the author gotta nerf it, c'mon.
Final boss
But it all change when they got a horse
Lmao. ...and that's when the Fire Nation attacked.
Should’ve known I would walk myself into that one,lol
It could have been worse. You could have walked into Barack O-Drama's "Change" speech ... Oh, wait!??
Yeah, I don’t get it but I’m guessing I should avoid it
Nah, you should embrace it as a funny meme!
As people always say: "Horse can change the tide of war"
It really did.
Anime only viewers hardest enemy ever. Watching a whole season about farming with little to no combat action.
honestly though? the season is super chill and nice, and i really like the dynamic einar and thorfin have - they're like extreme opposites. i also love the characters we'll be getting to meet, especially patel. Old ketel is lovely and so is snake
eh it's not that hard to watch... it's story and character building... i haven't read the anime but knowing how the first season went.. and the times the people are living in during this anime... War and action packed fights are coming
It's definitely pretty hard, I won't lie, especially when I'm already watching one that has to deal with farming already aha.
FRRR LMAOOO...Thank God I read the manga
as a guy that does a fair bit of farming yearly gotta say removing roots and stumps is hard af
as someone who has had to pull tree stumps on my own, i feel them there. That shit is fucking exhausting. Given i didn't pull out big ass tree stumps, just normal apple trees, but still, it's a pain in the back. I's 1000x easier to chop down a tree than to pull out the goddamn tree stump that is left.
Anybody who ever cleared land, even in one's backyard, knows how tough it is. And just imagine that these guys were clearing old primal forests were the trees weren't even planted but there since times immemorial, without any power tools.
But this is actually what happened in medieval Europe. Much of forests were cleared by hand to create cash generating farmland.
if this stump was dry tho it would be piece of cake
Farming is no joke. Especially in the medieval period where there were no machines, everything done by hand. Nords and Europeans basically cut down entire forests by hand.
Ironic considering how much Thorfinn has fought. XD
Yeah I know
It really left 'em feeling glory stumped for a while.
Shows the powerdiff of a horse just carrying them thru multiple bossfights in a row
hahaha
i see you never ever did remove one by hand
Canute: Playing Civilization
Thorfinn: Playing Stardew Valley
😂😂😂
